Christine was a supremely talented Hair and Makeup Designer, a gifted artist and a true original. She had an incredible career, living and working for many years in London and happily returning to her much loved Glasgow for the last few years. During her time in the industry, Christine created many iconic looks, including Father Ted, Absolutely Fabulous And The Mighty Boosh.

A two-time BAFTA winner, including one for Outstanding Contribution to Craft, Christine was loved, respected, and admired by those who knew her. Whether she was moulding, manipulating, painting, laying down a wig or simply describing, you found her artistically gifted hands dancing while they created the magic in her latest spark of an idea.

Christine loved to teach and believed in people before they believed in themselves. Her motto, "Massive improvisation and monumental calm" was how she approached every challenge, inspiring those around her to do the same.
